501(c)(3) tax-exempt status

Academy of the Renaissance is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation formed on April 20, 2018 to establish a California private school that serves economically-disadvantaged students from underserved communities.

We received our exemption determination on April 15, 2019 under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Donors may deduct contributions made to Academy of the Renaissance under IRC Section 170. Academy of the Renaissance is also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.
